New Iron...

I just bought a new iron, and man, does that thing flatten cloth like nobody's business.

      was very young, about 8 or 9 I think. I've been caring for my own
      clothes, including washing/drying, ever since.

      because that's where the girls were!

      Despite the distraction(s) in class, to this day I too can iron clothes, use a sewing machine adeptly, make delicious Cream Puffs and my Cheese Souffle never falls!

      In contrast, shop class, a huge waste of my time. I mean, how many times does one make a screwdriver in life? A toolbox? Or make small boards out of big boards?

  • What iron is it? Both my husband and I iron everything! We are always looking for a good one.

      My sons were also taught young to care for their own clothing. Good training.

      Personally, if something needs to be ironed, I don't buy that piece of clothing:p
