I think I'll open up a booth at the fair and get straight to the point... "Grease on a Stick". I really think it's a winner...!

Sooo many fried foods at state fairs. Was watching travel network a while back and they had a hour special on state fair foods, they went to 4 fairs I think and almost all of it was fried it seemed. Good for one day, just not everyday or you will be asking for a heart attack.

Speaking of simmering foods. my favorite is corn beef stew. The kind that absolutely melts in your mouth because it has been cooking the whole day. Urgh! I made myself hungry....

  I used to like fair food - but all of those look icky to me.
  
  Fried glop and heart attack on a stick...yum yum - but once a year won't hurt you. I've never thought of hot dogs as a "treat" no matter what you do to them.
  
  I like fried dough - and for years the only place you could get really good gyros was at the state fair.

You make my hunger more.. and I want some delirious foods now. Along with good foods their should be a good cooking fair too and it will get more excited.
