I'm sure some of you have enough money to indulge in mindless pleasures if you chose to do so. And if you happen to be amongst the elite Internet Marketers with lots of money to splurge, here is one thing you might want to consider:

Conquest's tank-like SUVs for super-rich

If I'm ever rick - I hope I will not also be stupid

I'd say anyone who needs that vehicle has probably pissed off a lot of people on his way to getting rich.

I wasn't ever struck with the Hummer - but this thing is AWESOME. I love back roading and these days you don't know when you are going to wind up in hostile territories. I've heard of people getting shot for just getting too close to cartel pot fields (like they've made maps so you know to stay away).

Downside though is it looks too big to go some places I want to be and probably is a gas siphon.

Don't think I'd ever put this on my dream vehicle list, but if they ever come out with a jeep size model, it might just make it there.

Definitely wouldn't fit down some of those logging/four-wheel drive roads. But just imagine bearing down on that VW going 50 in the fast lane!

Also, tires look great for traction but on a 14000 lb vehicle probably would last about six miles on the highway!

Heavy sigh, Gordon. Here we are looking at a half million dollar rig and discussing practicalities. What the hell has this economy done to our ability to dream big and to envision some fun?

Yeah - give it to me. I'll find out how long those tires last on concrete for ya. I'll find out if it drives over the little stuff on the edge of those narrow logging roads, too - and on sand - uphill - creekbeds.

Speaking of practicalities----I was looking at a Jeep Patriot the other day and that muffler mounted up under the rear end behind the bumper seemed to be very attractive to that water bar/rock/stump or branch that you just drove over!

If you're that worried about protecting yourself, why not buy an ACTUAL military vehicle; one specifically designed to take a lot of punishment? You won't look like such a pratt, and the "big swinging mickey" factor is amplified ten-fold too.

Because they want their ride to not just protect but to say "hey I'm rich" at the same time.

I drove a military Hummer when I was in the Army National Guard in the late 80's and there was zero comforts in those suckers so the rich don't want that! No crusted gems on the dashboard.
