Propeller closing its doors?

I just went to propeller to submit a bookmark real quick and it said that Propeller will be closing down on October 1st.

Weird.

I have a feeling they're going to use propeller for something else, utilizing the existing traffic.

In my opinion.

I'm only surprised since it's one of the most popular bookmarking sites right now.

Oh that sucks. Vox is closing it's doors too! Seems to be a bit of a trend lately with these sites, they are either becoming paid sites or just closing down!

Well, I can see that they would make a change. I would assume they're not making nearly as much money as they could be with that amount of traffic.

Also, these bookmarking sites have been abused more and more via courses teaching mass bookmarking, and new tools and software that do all of this automatically with no intentions other than the backlinks.

And another one bites the dust.

It appears to be happening more and more, but I think it is really just the way of the net.

I would play taps, but I don't have a MIDI composer anymore.

Propeller could be worth a lot to advertisers surely with that amount of traffic?

I can't understand it. Why don't they just sell it to someone who would carry on running it?
