Fundraising Ideas?
Some of you may recall that last July I did a 96km hike/run through hill and dale to raise money for disadvantaged youth - website at kokodachallenge.com - Home. The event hoped to raise A$350,000 but actually finished with A$380,000 so a great result.
I'm planning on doing it again next year - yeah, it was that much fun! LOL - but the sponsorship we had last year won't apply. So, I need to raise A$1000; A$200 by February when I register a team, and the rest by the time of the event in July.
Does anyone have any fun ideas to raise $$ - maybe something your children's school has done, or maybe some fundraiser you've seen done that caught your eye... Not necessarily looking for IM type solutions, but something that would appeal to the general public that's a bit different to the regular chocolate drive or -thon..
