Another Meaningless Milestone
Well, today I received my 5,000th thanks here.
What does it mean?
In the grand scheme of things...nothing.
Too many people get all caught up in numbers and accolades.
All that matters, at the end of the day, is how many people's lives you
helped make a little better. Because if you're not doing good by your fellow
man and you're just interested in yourself...
What the hell are you doing on this planet?
Sorry, but the meaninglessness of some things has really hit home with
me today since my poor daughter hasn't been able to get a decent night's
sleep in 4 months.
Really puts things in perspective.
