Comedian Greg Giraldo died of an accidental prescription drug overdose.

He was a regular on those Comedy Central Roasts and a judge on Last Comic Standing.

What a shame, that dude gave me a lot of belly laughs over the years.

    Although, there seems to be an awful lot of 'accidental prescription drug overdose' deaths among the stars these days.

    Prescription drugs? So did HE OD himself or was this another case of a doctor drugging someone to death because the money was great?

    Not always, Kay - but it does sound a bit fishy. Sounds like there was more than one drug and they reacted to each other instead of just too much of one drug and what was going on was a snowball effect. Also -depending on the drug, it can be just as dangerous cleaning it out of the system as it can be to leave it there. Around a quarter of a million die each year due to prescription drug reactions. I'm just interested to find out what these particular "prescription drugs" were being prescribed for.
