Dressing Up As Lady Gaga - What Is The Appeal?

Hi All,

Does anyone know exactly why someone would want to dress up as Lady Gaga at Halloween? I'm out of the US and didn't know who she was until her name popped up from keyword research.

I found out she's a pop icon (at risk of sounding like I've been living under a rock). So dressing up as Lady Gaga has some of that glitter and fame rub off? "Look at me, I'm the Queen of Pop"?

I'm thinking hard how to put into words the feelings one gets by donning the attire. Any ideas welcomed. (Also, I've never been to a Halloween or any other costume party before.) Thanks.

Hello,
they have a Halloween parade in New York City every year,
I think half of the people will be dressed as Lady Gaga and that includes the men as well.
The whole thing about her costumes is that you will never know what to expect next from
her.

PLEASE PLEASE *****PLEASE***** don't think all americans, or even a significant minority, are like that.

HECK, I have NO idea. Frankly, I see her as just another jerk that figures that offending people through her dress, actions, and ideas, will make her world famous. Sadly, she succeeded in that. They claim she has talent, and I don't see it. She goes to PUBLIC events and does things like go near naked, or dressed in MEAT! And I am not exagerating in EITHER case.

As for going in costumes that look like her, they good looking like skeletons and witches also. And I DOUBT ANY straight men will dress like her EVER! Homosexuals often, like lady gaga, want to do the same, perhaps for the same reason.

Lady Gaygar is not a lady

Lady Gargay is not a bloke or a sheila.

Lady Gaygoober is a homo-methradite. Hence a freak. hence worthy of Halloween status more so than a certain deceased chimpanzee fondler.

I'm not at all convinced that Lady Gaga is a dude. If so, why was she always raised as a female and how did she attend an all girl school as a child? Various actresses/models have been rumored to be XY with CAIS (complete androgen deficiency syndrome), but if it has not been publicly verified by any party affected, spreading rumors as truth is kind of pointless. Why does it matter? Beats me. Wouldn't it make more sense to worry about criminals in your neighborhood causing harm than harmless people you'll probably never meet?

  I've reedited this myself, since I realized that I was pretty much helping spread the rumor myself just by mentioning names associated with them:

Well, I don't know if the XY androgen insensitivity said of her is true, but one jerk even said that she isn't fully formed in that way and that part of the testicles may remain in the lower area, etc... while stating the XY CAIS, That shows they didn't even TRY! The trigger for the descent of the testicles is DHT and that happens AFTER the rest is formed. AND, to the best of my knowledge, EVERYTHING, except the gonads of course, will seem female, etc... if they have NO reaction to the DHT. Unless there was something, like her not menstruating, having some cancer there, etc... she may never know she was xy. Heck, early on she WOULD get some estrogen. A little bit is generated and there IS an enzyme that I am sure even females have that converts some testosterone into estrogen.

Pretty simple isn't it? My niece just went to one of her concerts and she said most of the crowd was dressed up in Lady Gaga style.

Personally I couldn't stand her at first, but have changed my mind after listening and watching her more. She does have talent and is interesting.

OK I'm prepared to take LGG's word that she is not an hemomathrodite.

In this case she is a hot beewitch that needs a good shagging. I only hear this music at the strip club. I would never buy or DL it but yes she has good music.

Also whoever made up the homeomethridite story clearly is an asshole.

Also as a child my younger sister used to call me ga ga.

Then later I was called gayreth at high school and this has damaged me terribly.
