Hey Ron Douglas saw you at my local Barnes & Noble today

I'm at my local Barnes & Noble bookstore here in Minneapolis, MN (actually at the Starbucks inside the bookstore) so I took a break to peruse the aisles and I remembered about fellow Warrior Ron Douglas and his publicity course so thought I would take a gander at the cookbook section and there is Ron, front and center!

I think that's so cool to see a fellow Warrior with his real book here at the bookstore. And in a tough cookbook niche along side Martha Stewart and Rachel Ray, and the Joy of Cooking. Awesome!

Hey Alan, thanks for checking for me in the bookstore. That's pretty cool.

Simon & Schuster really has an awesome distribution. The book is in Walmart, Target, Home Depot, airport bookstores, Charlie's bootleg flea market bookstore, you name it lol. Someone told me their friend even saw it in the Philippines.

    It's been a real blessing.

Off topic: You might be blessed also this year because your Nets look like an improved team. That Favors looks like a very solid rookie, Don Nelson called Anthony Morrow the best pure shooter he ever coached ( he coached Chris Mullin ), plus they have added a few other good pieces to go along with Lopez and Harris. The Nets might be good this year!! 8-)

Well this is the off topic forum .

I like the Nets (better than last year because they couldn't get worse), but I'm a bigger Knicks fan. Hopefully we can get Melo because he really wants to come to NY. His wife is always in NY working.

Well, in that case my condolences to you.

Just kidding. I see the Knicks as being improved also.

You will like the three guys they got from the Warriors, Randolph, Turiaf and Azubuike. Randolph and Azubuike have amazing athletic ability, talent and potential. Azubuike is more polished and experienced. He had some great games with the Warriors, but had a terrible knee injury last year. I hope he fully recovers. I loved his play and demeanor. Very serious while he is playing. Can shoot the three consistently in the mid 40% range. Turiaf was a fan favorite for his hustle, personality and defense, which was rare among Warriors last year. I hated to see any of those three leave, but hope David Lee will be the power forward the Warriors have been looking for.

Here's a game last year when he scored 31 points in only three quarters. A few weeks later he got the knee injury:
