Who else likes to enjoy a beer while working online?

I don't do internet marketing full time each day as I am a teacher during the day time. But there is nothing more rewarding then coming home from work on a Friday, opening a beer and starting on my online work.

Are there any other marketers who actually do this?

I think this comes as part of the daily perks of online marketing. It can actually boost your motivation. (If you don't over indulge, hehe)

What other jobs do you get where you have flexible hours where you can sleep until past 9 as well as having the option to drink while working.

P.S. I am in no way saying drinking at work is good or that will help you to make more money online... :p

Not a beer, but perhaps an adult portion of Lagavulin single malt.

I have had wine in the past but since I do the bulk of my work late at night I realized it made me fall asleep much quicker. So I stopped in order to squeeze out every last bit of my energy.

You do it after work and yes I must agree a nice refreshing beer after work is really great.

So true, wine (or even beer) late at night makes you want to lean back and doze off, instead of doing work at the computer! I find that tea works best for me late at night, it keeps me alert, but not so much so that I can't sleep later.

My wife won't let me work on my stuff most of the time. But considering the fact that she makes 3 times more money than I do, I have to listen to her.

She once gave me a lecture about how that combination is deadly!

        Redbull raises heart rate
        Vodka raises heart rate

The worst you can do to your heart she says.

Who cares, I still like that drink!

Yep me too! I find that I actually get a lot more work done in the same amount of time when I've had a few drinks.

I thought you were meant to do Internet Marketing on Crack.
No wonder I've been getting nowhere

Every now and then I crack open a can and chill out with the
laptop and crank out some work - I don't make it a habit though
as I'm full time, and I'd be off my face by morning if I always had
a beer with me while I'm working.

I can't say that it has crossed my mind to have a beer while doing online work because I feel like I'd lose focus. That being said, I do enjoy a nice cup of coffee or three and sometimes even some energy drinks when I know I am going to put several hours in for the day. The caffeine buzz keeps me going.

I dont partake of drinking beer, but i do say I enjoy a nice soft drink during the days and coffee early morn or late at nite. Nothing is so relaxing then having something to sip on.

So funny you mentioned this. I came up with a great concoction today. I really like the Shipyard Pumpkin Ale that comes up this time of year and today I put a pinch of cinnamon and sugar inside of it and put it around the rim of the glass (like a margarita) and it was YUM!!! Anyone who likes pumpkin ale should try it with the cinnamon and sugar.

Cracked me up!! Thanks for the pre-midday laugh! (Arizona) I still work full time, school full time, and business when I can. Friday is THAT day, and nothing like a cold one at the end of the day. I'll have one for you! Cheers!

A beer serves as a reward for me especially during Friday nights and still need to work. But of course, I would just limit my consumption to avoid falling asleep while writing. But yes, cold beer completes my Friday nights.

I hate beer while working. I also hate it after working.

I hate it before, during and after working. I hate it with passion. Why? My father used to misbehave when he was taking it. So, I learned from my dad's ugly experience.

I bought a six pack of the alcohol free beer O'douls. I am pregnant but was really missing it, especially since my husband has been buying the really nice fall ales lately. It was gross. I am going to have to stick to tea to keep me productive in the evenings.

A cold Heineken after a long day of work is great. I like it more towards the end of my day though, I don't seem to get any work done if I start drinking too soon.
