Does anyone know if Paypal charges a fee to use the debit card. I just recently got my card within the past month and use it daily. I noticed when looking at my bank statements, I have numerious $1 Paypal ACH withdrawals.

Any ideas? I looked on their site and don't see anything about any fees to use it.

I usually just get cash back when I make a purchase. The fees are lower that way.

Only time I had a fee was when I used it at an ATM.

Strange. I have a business account and theres no 1 dollar fee that I can see for purchases or cash back.
The only time I get a fee is when withdrawing cash from an atm.

There is a $1 ATM withdrawl fee

Otherwise, you get cash back when you use your PayPal card as a credit card (pay bills online, over the phone, sign credit card slip).

I've never been comfortable using my Paypal debit card for daily purchases. I tend to make one larger cash withdrawal or just transfer the money to my bank account. A $1 ATM fee is a deal these days - but I don't care to pay ATM fees daily to anyone. Transferring from paypal to my own bank is free and takes about 2 days.

Paypal is not a bank and I've never gotten comfortable with using that card frequently. I'm lazy, too, and it's easier to match up income and expenses for taxes when I have fewer withdrawals.

If you take out cash daily, just keep in mind that is pre-tax income and it's wise to put some back to pay the taxes on it. I'm sure you know that - but I've been surprised every year at tax time by panicked marketers who thought paypal income was "invisible" if it didn't go into their bank account.

    G`day,

yeah, buck here ... dollar there ... these companies love creaming little
charges that most simply don`t notice as it`s small ... worth millions each
year. You should call Paypal and ask ... they`ll probably point you to your
bank, then when you ask the bank they`ll say to go to Paypal to enquire

If Paypal asks for a Bailout I`m gonna go live in a cave methinks
