Cooks Source Magazine....I don't believe it

Some how I do not believe a whole lot about the statements now made on their home page.

As many of us know this started when they printed a Bloggers content without permission or their knowledge. A **** storm ensued in the media and on Facebook.


I think they are still covering up and the statement about taking down their home page because of advertisers is not to protect them but because they lost them instead.

    Wow, I paid a visit to their site over the weekend when it was
    up.

    Looks like everything has imploded. I didn't read the entire statement
    as some of it looks like rehash. The bit about getting hacked, etc.

    But none of it is surprising. Standard damage control, although admittedly
    they're beyond any hopes of damage control. They may be looking at
    more pressing and serious issues from various legal departments based on
    some things I've read. Don't know, though.

    I think the best they can do at this point is find some way to settle if things
    get that far. Hard to say what other businesses will do.

    It may even be possible that some may feel sorry for them considering the
    absolute steam-rolling they've experienced.

    Lessons for lots of businesses and people in the public domain internets.
