    B
    BCPL
    C
    C++
    C#
    808x assembler
    6000x assembler
    Occam
    Fortran
    Cobol
    Algol
Aida (IPC sucks toads in this language)
Eiffle (what a freaking resource hog - even more so than aida, and aida redevous sucks toads)
JAVA - another piss poor resource hog that didn't have the decency to die a horrid death.....
    Lisp
    Prolog
    Basic
    Visual Basic
Several embedded languages like pSOS that I've forgotten even how to name
and of course the assembler and compiler I wrote as my senior project in computer science at UNCA

html? a programming language? I respectfully disagree - its a markup language derived from sgml. from the likes of postscript, Tex and LaTex....

oh crap - totally forgot Forth...used that in my CPU simulator I built in silicon using shift registers instead of flipflop registers. It screamed in spice, but we didn't have the $$$ in college to actually cast the thing.

those are all I can think of at the moment....

oh wait - what was the main language on the old Prime's - was that Pick Basic? but guess that would count as BASIC though....

I've worked with a whole bunch, but currently am focused on the LAMP stack,
I find I could code most of the things I need relatively quick

If I need something fast, I'd prob. use c/c++

Pascal — but just a little bit of it.
I'm not a programmer, but I sometimes want to be a programmer.

Though I know HTML and CSS, but that's not programming languages.

Very proficient in C, C++, Visual C++/Basic, Perl, Java... and heavily dabbled in a whole lot of others.

Perl is my favorite by far.

I know very many languages though if I want to get things done I mainly choose between PHP and C++.

If I want to write a web application I use PHP since this is just widely available from every hoster and it really has anything I need. I also use this for quick hack-ups to modify some files or sort directories. I guess other people would use a bash script or something for that but I feel so comfortable with PHP that often when I face a problem I already have a solution in my head I just have to code down.

When it comes to desktop applications I just totally prefer C++. I guess I would never drive an automatic car since I just need to have total control and C++ gives me exactly that. Also with great frameworks like the Qt Framework you have everything you need to build top-notch applications. (AFAIK Adobe and other big companies use Qt to develop their applications.)

C++ is also very very fast if you know what you're doing. That also goes the other way round: If you don't know what you're doing it can be terribly slow.
