so far i have had a world of trouble installing this software. Mostly it has been from misinformation. now i have it installed all the way to the login portion. now I can't get the login to log in. the password i have used in setup doesnt work. anyone know what I need to do to fix it or bypass it?:confused:

    I paged back and changed the passwords and now it shows me this:

    MySQL Error:1050 Table 'a_tr' already exists

    can someone tell me maybe how to fix it. if i switch back to the other database i created it goes away by clearing all fields and gives me the message :
    Connect to db failed, please check your connection settings and retry!

    To change the password use your ftp and locate the folder 'config' file and open it up and then use edit to access the 'constants.php' file. You can change your password there or make sure you typed in what you thought you did during setup.

    You can also try a complete fresh install with a new database and if you're using 777 permissions on the files that need to be changed use 755 instead.

    The only things I can think of is you didn't chmod the folders specified, or you didn't add a database user to the database

    I'll help too if you want. I just installed it on my site last night. It's by far the best script I've ever seen. Other membership scripts automate the daily tasks of running a membership, this one automates the marketing, and that puts this script in a class of it's own.
