For me, working online = security

I put this in the OT forum because it isn't really a nuts-and-bolts "making money" thread, but an emotional one.

I am married to a disabled veteran. I am fortunate in that he can still work, but we truly do not know how much longer that will be the case. His health is failing. He is only 40 years old.

When I found this forum a few short months ago, I knew I needed to find a way to (eventually) support our family, but really didn't know how. Initially, I just thought that working online would be a good way to make money for Christmas.

Thanks to the wonderful people on this forum, I have made enough in the last month to pay all of our bills, without needing Hubby's income.

I cannot tell you how much of a weight has been lifted from me. Knowing that I can support our family on my income alone is such a relief for me.

I am having a very emotional day - Hubby has been worried, too, so this has been a weight lifted from his shoulders, too.

I just wanted to share and say, "Thank you!"

Care to share how you did it:rolleyes:

    Just kidding Shay
But you know someone will ask that so I figured I'd get it out of the way, lol.

That's great to hear about you paying your bills with online money, tho it sucks to hear that about your husband.
Even tho I'm not a vet. I get pissed when I hear how they are treated after protecting my butt.

I don't make to much online yet. Mainly because I'm one of those weirdo's who actually enjoys their job, boss, and the people I work with.
This winter I'm amping up my online stuff, mainly so I can have more time to ride my shiny metal ass. It's finally sinking in I'm not a kid anymore and not immortal so my time has become precious to me.

Anyways congratulations and I hope it just gets better for you and your husband.

    P.S.
Give your husband my best and tell him thank you for me.

Thanks, Thom. I am very proud of my Hubby.

I don't mind sharing about how I made my income. Not a big secret.

      My income has come from:

      1. writing

      2. selling 2 different info products using my (freebie) blogs and my mailing list. (I wrote the info products myself.)

If I can do it, anyone can do it.

At the end of the day, a job is only as stable as the profit and loss accounts anyway, as we can see, the current economy suits work at home workers, rather than employees.

5 of my friends have been laid off from various jobs this month alone.

    I love Money Making Online

Yeah, and Shay could write up an action-packed lively script. I'll do a mean butt-kicking voice-over of Thom in action on that shiny ass of his. With the grace of annoyedgirl on the front cover, sounds like we're on to something here!
