Looking for suggestions for my store

This is the first time I have ever asked a question on a forum like this so I am hoping that someone will reach out and make a suggestion for me. For all intents and purposes I am a relative newbie to building sites and blogs. I have managed to build a few and while I am only now starting to drive traffic to these I am now interested in building an online store.

1-I was wondering if there are any people out there that have experience in building a wp storefront.
2-I am using Templatics-storefront theme and added in the wp commerce plugin.
3-Here is where I am stuck.

What is the best(and easiest) way to get the products onto my pages?

The site is geared towards tools of the trade for property preservation.
eg< lock boxes, antifreeze for winterization of the foreclosed homes, toilet wraps, door stickers, books on property preservation, property preservation software, etc.

I may seem like I am rambling here so again I guess my question here is does anyone know how I go about finding the products, text descriptions and images to load into my site and what is the easiest way to go about it. Does anyone make a "Feed" that does this? Also is it better to use my own cart or have their click on the product and redirect them to say Amazon or Ebay?
