How to Block a Friend in Facebook?

Hi guys,
I need help on how to block friends in my Facebook account to comment on my status. I don't want to block all friends, just several friends. So they can't comment on my status. While the others still can do it. Can we set that in our Facebook account?

    All you have to do is remove them from your friends list. You can do that by going to their profile, scrolling down, and clicking on "Remove from Friends". That'll do it!

    Yes..u can set that in ur profile..check settings..or even u can remove from friend's list

      Well, I don't want to remove them from my friends list. I just want to make them unable to comment on my status. But only some of them.

    I think if you want to stop them commenting you would need to remove them as your friend.

    You can do this... Make a list of all those friends. Then go to Privacy Settings --> Customize Settings and there is an option "Comment on posts on your wall". Edit and enter the new list name in "Hide This From:" area.

      Yup, it works! Thanks man. Now I can exclude several people from commenting in my wall status. I think in this menu I can exclude them to see my status as well

      This is actually the exact and right step by step process on how to private your wall post from different people without deleting them on your list of friends. Just stick to this then your wall post will not shown up whenver they will going to visit your profile to write a comment.

      Great, before reading your post, I must block several friends by deleting them from my friend list. It was not convenient.

    My question is to you, why would you want to block your friends anyway?

    They maybe writing on your wall and comenting on your status and that. But, isn't that the point of facebook? Everything about it, is viral.

    The only way to stop the select few, is to block them or not havethem as friends.

    But, if they were really friends, they would stop doing it, if you asked politely.
