Because it just might come true.

I'm sure everyone has heard recent complaints from activist type groups about how some businesses are taking the PC route and going with 'Happy Holidays' as opposed to 'Merry Christmas'...

Well, one of these types of groups here in Florida complained this year during Halloween because some toll booth workers put up Halloween decor and they were offended. Um, yah...they were forced to take the stuff down.

Well, now this same group won't be seeing something they DO personally approve of - Christmas decorations. Its all banned now. Can't please everyone so the powers that be pretty much had to take the only safe route. That Halloween protest worked out well for them didn't' it?

Pretty soon the toll booth workers won't be able to have pictures of their kids in their booth because that will offend those who can't have children.

(ps this wasn't meant to be a christmas vs happy holidays or religious type of thing...that was just the current event reference...its the out of control 'I'm offended' thing)

    You are absolutely correct. The problem is that a large group of Americans seem to think Freedom means they get what they want but nobody else does.

    This crap is not constitutional law - it's corporate law. Show me the contract I signed that obligates me to be unoffensive to 200 million people. If I am to be responsible for someone else's mental state, does this entitle me to compensation for the responsibility? Does it entitle me to credentials I am not educated to hold in psychology? If I am to be held responsible for that person, shouldn't they have to either live where it's convenient for me to monitor them - or buy me a home near them so I can fulfill my obligations? How many hours per week am I obligated? Do I get overtime - retroactive pay?

    Good crap - I wonder what else was being done that this pulled attention away from this time.
