It's still 12/31 3:22 pm here in Washington state in the U.S. I am really looking forward to this year. 2010 was the hardest year I think I have ever gone through and wouldn't wish what I went through on my worst enemy. My dad died in February, my mom needed surgery that only 20% survive (she did), my Grandfather died, and I ended up getting sick with Colitis, and financially we have been pretty strapped because of bills and issues.

The cool thing is that I grew. I leaned and I have improved. I have gained more compassion for people going through hard times. And I have learned to love more.

So even though I went through all of these things, I probably wouldn't trade all the good that has happened either because of it.

I hope everyone has a prosperous 2011 and just remember NEVER QUIT. NEVER GIVE UP! You will get there if you keep your eye on the prize!

      Scrofford Sir,

Well done for seeing that what doesn't destroy us makes us stronger. I understand that well too. I admire you for that, many break. I feel for you, especially having chatted to you since I arrived, albeit briefly. You're an honourable man for taking the right route.

Sadly, now's a time to spare a thought for those who may not have the chance to become stronger from what they're going through. Those alive today.

It's those people I honour now.

Happy New Year to you sir, you deserve it.

6 hours and 30-ish more minutes in Southern California.

A year of great learning and adventure 2010. Profits too, which is cool. And as far as marketing goes, a year of sharpening my focus into a set of skills I feel very confident with. And that I really appreciate - a whole lot.

Yeah, this. I had a rough 2010, too. But like scrofford says: never quit!

Scrofford, Sorry to hear you had such a hard year. You have made the best of it and learned from it though, and I salute you for that. I hope 2011 is a LOT better.
