I am temporarily not in the USA. Many big name sites that I visit - Google, Adobe, Microsoft, etc. apparently read my IP address and present their page in the local language which I can't read. In some cases it's fairly easy to find the English button but in many cases it's not or even if I choose English it doesn't "stick".

While this is awfully convenient for local users, it's a total pain for me. Outside using a proxy or some other get up are there other ways to change this?
Thanks for any input,
Mark
