Is Radio Announcer Ted Williams A Phony?

Well, this one sure is. hahhahahahhaa.

The story of the golden voice radio announcer Ted Williams has captivated almost all of us over the last couple of days. And rightfully so, it's an amazing story.

So, my buddy Kyle Cease only thought it was appropriate to make a spoof...


While filming some stuff for Comedy Central last month Kyle and I were discussing filming spoofs the second something hot hits the media or internet. It's something you have to be ready to film right away the moment you notice a video is going viral.

I saw a few marketers building web pages, fan pages and more about the guy as well. The point here is "SPEED OF IMPLEMENTATION".

If you've ever seen Eben Pagan's "Get Altitude" videos you may of seen me in one of the videos where I took his advice while on stage, built a blog in the audience and made a few hundred bucks before lunch. All because of quick implementation and just doing it.

Anyhow, props to Kyle for jumping on this quickly.

Any shots you think this could get 50,000 hits by the next few days?

Pretty darn funny if you ask me. Way to be on the ball buddy. I was thinking a "Dead Birds" spoof could work too.

    or you can do it blair witch style.

    Video tape someone saying nothing intersting. In the background you hear someone scream. The person holding the camera runs toward the scream, and see's the tuna everywhere.

    Dead birds- use photocopied pictures of turkeys in the store, because the budget is too cheap. Just like monty python, couldn't afford real horses, so he used a coconut and a dude.

    (Edit - that video is even funnier the second time watching it. you notice little things you don't see the first time. His intentional studdering and obvious lack of interest is great)
