Ode to the end piece of bread..

Oh what should I do with ye, oh end piece of bread?

Should I throw yo away, or keep you there and reach behind you and grab the next one?

  • You need to keep it there. Its such a special moment when you go through the whole loaf and the ends finally meet......

    • Kim, believe it or not, my bread (Friehoffers Whole Wheat) only has one end.
      The last piece is a regular piece just like the ones in the middle.

      I have NO idea how they do that but I only get one end.

      I usually toss it in the trash since I make sandwiches and have no use for
      an odd slice of bread.

      Yeah, the poor end piece.

      It's a hell of a lousy existence.
