So what's your situation like?

Still living with your parents, while trying to hit big with IM?

Married/Bf/gf/children?

Do you guys sometimes neglect eating proper food when working so hard (if you live alone that is).
thats why you get a wife that can cook

There's no way I could pack upnmy wife and kid to move back to my moms, unless I absolutely had to. That being said, it would be awesome to have no bills and be able to do this full-time with little stress.

Yes I live with my parents and I'm 25...very normal for European families.

It's hell living here to be honest, but what choice have I got? Renting in this day and age with an average job is a sure way to go on the road to nowhere path. (for most people anyway)

    LMAO to this thread.

I live with bunch of my close buddies, very chaotic at time because of the amount of people they invite over to the house.

I miss my parents cooking though. I can cook, its just not that pleasing to my taste buds.

Come on now, even if someone is living with their parents, doesn't mean it's a free ride. Some still pay part of the rent, even some food, phone...etc. Bills are still there. Just not quite as much when living on your own.

I live by myself. My fiancée is moving in pretty soon though, which is a good thing, because my place is WAYYYYY too big for just me. I bought it so I could start a family.

I'm still living with my parents, my dad died over year ago, now living only with my Mom and other siblings.

Its actually the incident, and her, the reasons I got into IM, the reason I gotta stay at home that made me find a way to earn while I'm home.

Now, I'm at home doing IM.

I don't think there's anything wrong with living with your parents as long as you share some of the bills and help in household chores.

yes , I do not think its a big deal living with parents. In some of the countries of Asia like India there is a tradition to live with their parents. those who left considered to be a bad guy. so I do not think its a big deal if you take responsibilities of all expense of your home and your parents.

I think living with your parents can really stunt your growth. When I first moved out on my own I was forced to figure out how to pay my rent. This lead to me creating several businesses (most which failed off the bat, but some actually made it). If I didn't have the motivation to make some money to pay large recurring bills I wouldn't have ever gotten into internet marketing and created a mobile lifestyle.

I now get to travel the world working on stuff that is truly exciting to me. I never would have had this if I had lived at home just so I could save a little bit of money.

My wife's brothers still live at home, one with a kid and he is 35 years old. This is such a burden on the aging parents. Sure he's saving a couple hundred every month but at what cost? He doesn't have a job because he has never found the need for it. He just does freelance illustrations at 25$ a week to pay for his small amount of spending cash.

When I look at this as a choice the answer is there really isn't any choice at all. Move out and live your life.

I'm 28, have my own place, but live like 10 min from my mother. When I lived there my sis and I both gave her "rent" money even though she def didn't need it, it was moreso we wanted to so didn't feel like we were just mooching off her.

And honestly it's better than having roomates lol, I love my friends, but could not live with any of them. And then i got my place, nice condo on the intracoastal, and have a spare bedroom and so many want to rent that room and I'm like nope.. it's the "office" room. Seen way to many times of plenty of them ending up with dumbass roomates, and I didn't want any part of that.

In other countries, it seems it's common for people to live with their parents even when waaaay grown up, in the U.S. not so much. Most people want to get out of their parents house asap, my mother was very cool so we didn't care. I don't see a problem with it if your in your 20's and actually working and contributing to your parents $ wise, it's especially good if your starting your own biz and they know your busting your ass off and that living at home can save some major xost that can go back to growing the biz to where you can get your own place
