Cats are so smart they're dumb!!!

Have to rant, my cats we're play fighting and one scratched the others pad on her paw a little bit by mistake, no big deal.

But then she went and pulled it like the skin on a hang nail and kept pulling until the pad was all nasty looking and 5 times larger than normal.

So after all the vet stuff and getting it down to almost normal size, the dumby still won't let it heal. I've put a booty on her, taped in with packing tape, bandaids, etc. and she gets out every single time and the two days it spent healing and looking good, the dumby ruins it in five minutes by being her ocd self and cleaning the crap out of it.

Got her in a baby sleeper now, all latched up, she's not happy but it's working better, although the dumby still manages to pull her paw out every now and then and lick it before I catch her. It be healed in a week if she'd leave it alone.

Pain in the butt cat.

    Gotta love cats.

Have you tried putting some of that nasty-tasting stuff on her paw to discourage her from licking it? I know every time I've had a pet spayed or neutered, they give me a little bottle of it to keep the pet from licking the incision. I think you can buy it at most pet stores, too.
