To My Wonderful Sister

I just wanted to say thank you for all the joy you've given me in my life.

Your spirit and good nature spread joy to everyone who came in contact with you.

If sunshine ever entered a room where you were already present it seemed dim by comparison.

There were times when your kind words were the only thing that kept me from slipping farther into the abyss.

In the final tally when big hearts are valued more than big egos you will surely rise to prominance. Your willingness to give so others may benefit is an inspiration.

Forever we are grateful, those of us who were blessed with knowing you.

I dedicate this song to you, and thanks for being part of my life.

My Beautiful Sister Barbara- 7/14/56 to 1/11/11. May you rest in peace.

Your loving brother Bill

PS.

I'm just posting this as a reminder to all my brother and sister Warriors to say "thank you" to those who have helped you and to never forget to say "I love you" to the ones you love.

You don't get that chance forever...

Death is unfair in the sense, that in most cases it leaves something unaccomplished for the livings. For each of the dear relatives/friends that I have lost I always felt that I could have said some more, done some more etc. But one has to accept that most times it is not possible to reach such level of perfection.

So sorry to hear of your loss, Bill, but take some comfort in the thought that part of your sister lives within you.

Sometimes we forget things like this and take things for granted. Thank you for the reminder.

I sincerely hope you and your family will be OK.

My oldest sister passed away last spring.....we had only spoken one time in thirty years.

However I find that she fills my thoughts frequently and I know that I lost that chance to say "I love you". It hurts....and I can only imagine the hurt one has with the loss of a close relative.

Thank you for the reminder, and my families thoughts and prayers are with you.
