I can actually say that I'm making $200 days now because I am making them EVERY day. It's not just a one time deal, I'm now making $200/day after 4 months of being in Internet Marketing.

It's not always about the autoresponders and the list building and the SEO. Sometimes it takes a little out of the box thinking. How?

You see people that have a need, you give them that need, they'll pay you. And now I'm THRILLED to say that I am now making $200 a day every day.

You guys are the best!

    Well done, but I thought I read a post from you that said that you were in the online porn biz for a long time. Is that not Internet marketing?

    You see people that have a need, you give them that need, they'll pay you.
    That should be the basis of any business, online or not. Anybody that fails to see that when starting a business will undoubtedly fail.

        Porn is a different ballgame? How do you figure? You are providing a service that others want. In fact, the porn industry revolutionized IM. Many of the most successful "mainstream" IMers learned from the porn industry or from somebody else that learned from that industry.

          Yes technically overall you're doing the same thing. But the actual tasks that you're completing are different and it was a learning curve to do mainstream internet marketing. I wasn't submitting to article sites, social bookmarking sites, writing press releases. You can't do any of that with porn. You submit to thumbnail gallery posts, tube sites and porn directories.

          Basically the overall idea is the same, but the actual tasks involved are different.

            Sure you can! You just have to direct people to sites squeeze pages that don't contain any pornographic material. If you weren't doing these things, then you were missing out.               No there are other ways to promote porn sites. I can't see posting anything to EZA that they would accept in regards to my adult sites.

              Yes I have adult squeeze pages. They're not called that in adult though. They're called "landing pages". I have one landing page that has been working on it's own like a little soldier since 2004 making me about $100/month.

              I used to own my own membership sites. That is where the money actually is. But now that everything is given away for free, unless you have exclusive content and a seriously cool gimmick, no one is buying porn memberships. (well less people are....not no one)

      For one thing, your featured content gallery isn't loading so that's what I saw off the bat.

    Congrats AFI. That's pretty awesome and inspiring. I too made the jump from the sinking ship but am not making much in "mainstream" yet. Hope I can get to your level soon.

    In regards to the porn comments, my opinion is that porn and mainstream are two completely different ball games. That being said... Yes, all marketing is similar in a way.

    That's great and everything but usually these types of posts come along with a little bit of info on how you acheived it. Saying "thinking outside the box" and "giving people what they need" is a bit vague and to be fair are becoming marketing cliches and are pretty ambiguous.

    I know you are still giving some inspiration but by elaborating a little on what you did in your mainstream marketing efforts would go a long way to help the newbies and those struggling to make anything online.

    Not to take away from the congrats deserved and I'm sure you have worked hard to get where you have.

It's not about traffic, autoresponders, lists and such. Think outside the box for a minute and figure out what people need (articles, banners, etc) and if you can provide that need, you've got a full time income.

        Exactly Jennifer, some people tend to look down on service providers in the IM arena, and somehow think it isn't "real" internet marketing. It's a shame though, because there's real money to be made in this area, and in many cases there are not enough providers to service existing demand!

        Exactly - this is not hard physical labor. It might be tedious and boring sometimes, but you're comfortable when doing this and it'd be relatively easy to do this for hours on end, especially when compared to a job where you have to exert yourself physically.

        Does it require long hours? In the beginning, probably yes. But that's a small price to pay in exchange for the freedom and flexibility that an IM business gives you.

        I remember getting up at 6am every morning, starting work and doing 12 hours shifts in a sales office - worst thing was I was not making less than HALF of what I do now per week!

I actually had to read and re-read the posts because it seemed that the gentlemen inferred that it was all about something else But it is evidently the quality of your work. Teach some high school or college kids to do what you do and multiply your output. You kill two birds with one stone You teach kids a skill and you make more money because you can serve more clients.

      I don't outsource the important things and I think that is why people are happy with my work. I refuse to let quality suffer and my reputation is on the line. So I write every review myself so far although I am beginning to find good people to outsource now that I am so busy.

        The alpha and omega of your success is in that sentence.

        I see many times people asking on forums and in my emails: quality or quantity. They seem to follow a bad 'idea': if you are throwing pees in big enough quantity to your wall then some will be stick on.

        Yet, the reality is somewhat different. What sticks in there? Crap, instead of gold.

    2. waiter
    3. loading fiberglass insulation at 3 AM, in 10 degree snowy weather onto 30 delivery trucks and getting it all in my clothes and not being able to wash it out
    4, car wash

    Hi I've enjoyed reading this.. I really would like to be a porn king. I have a few girls who would be up for making porn.. but i've done a bit of digging around seeing where peoples links take them and all the landing pages are terrifyingly risky and decieving. It appears as if making money from one or two of your own pornos is impossible.. especially if i've gota pay the girlfriends half!
