Mine was a 4 lap ride at Texas Motor Speedway with a professional driver at 160mph!!
Loved it although I kept my eyes closed the first lap . I might try zip lining next.

Cool? I'll have to revisit this. Feeling kind of insecure about it at present.
Sort of cool: Since, in the great scheme of things, I basically know squat about squat, I'd like to produce documentaries to explore what I don't know about. Done a tiny bit.
Not so cool: I'd like to get a DNA test and get a clearer idea of my heritage. Haven't done it yet.

The National Geographic people are doing a project called the Genographic project. Using DNA volunteers to find out how people migrated around the world. A few years ago I volunteered and sent in my DNA free and got a haplogroup and some other info. Because I had a son I wanted to know.

( I was in the words of Popeye.. an orphink)

I then had them transfer it to another online (legit) Geneology lab that I did pay for a more in depth analysis.
The cost of the (fathers side dna) was quite reasonable and has since come down.
The mitochondrial dna or the mothers side has come down too, but is still more expensive. A few hundred but no where near as prohibitive as people think.

Here is the link for National Geo's Genographic

If you would like the link or address of the other place I will happily give to you.

It has been a number of years and no probs with them.

There is way to match and stay anon with people who are related in one measure or another. All over the world.

It was worth it, to at least be able to tell my son what his ancestry is.

      Peace

      Jim

Sorry *edit forgot to answer the ops question

The only thing that comes to mind, is hanging around long enough to be able to see my son grow and keep the caring soul he has. To not watch him fooled by a world that is getting further away from what is really important. That is truly my wish and will be the last on my mind before I kick the bucket..
