Does anyone know how to get FireFox out of Safe Mode on a Mac?

I booted FireFox up in "safe mode" using the option button when I started FF but now I can't seem to get out of safe mode. I tried googling it but I couldn't find anything. Does anyone know?

Use File -> Exit to quit Firefox

    Then re-boot your computer.

    Should work.
  • Yeah I tried rebooting. Didn't work

    I haven't a clue about macs but . . .

on a PC if you are loading FF from a desktop icon, then by deleting that and making a new one (by going Start -> Programs -> Firefox -> right click & Create Shortcut) it solves the problem.

Can you convert that to mac speak?

    EDIT **

Just found this http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/...k in safe mode
  • LOL nope. We don't have a start menu or anything like that. I could create an alias but I don't see how that gets it out of safe mode.

Sorry - posted at same time

The link in my edit above talks about the "shortcut" being updated - is that "alias" on a mac?

    • Yeah a shortcut is an alias. I'll give it a try! I'll try anything to get my add ons back.
  • I deleted the old alias and created a new one and it still didn't work. Looks like I'm gonna have to reinstall firefox. Does anyone know how to save your bookmarks in a file?

Good luck with it - sorry I'm a poor PC user
  • Well reinstalling it worked. Thanks guys!
