How Did You Get That Idea?

The other day, someone contacted me to climb up my butt about how a thread I had started was about him.

He said it was violation of WF Rule #1.

I laughed and said that the comments I made were about no one in particular, and those comments could easily fit a dozen people I know.

I was talking about human nature, without naming my friends' friend as the jack wad I was talking about.

I did not identify the context of the story, but I did describe the affair in terms of what everyone understands about the nature of some people.

I let my critic know that my post was never intended to be about him, and I asked if his assumption that it was about him indicated that he had a guilty conscience.

LOL

Often times, how you react to things tells more about you, than the original story in which you were reacting.

If you want to paint yourself in a pretty picture: try acting instead of reacting.

So that blind people can hate them as well.

I thought that would be obvious from the post. I'm the forum paranoid narcissist.

I feel so left out. No one ever starts threads about me.

But, last month, a couple people were looking on Google for a "creative guy" and Google sent them my way. So, I guess I'll just take whatever crumbs I can get.

I heard it through the grapevine your story was about him.

Lots of lips and ears grow on that dang thing...

Are you still sticking to the story, that it was not
          about him.

          Just asking...
