Hi everybody, introducing myself.

Hello Everybody,

Just thought I will take a little time to introduce myself here.

My name is Markus Mar, I am from Sydney, Australia.

Have been lurking in the forum for a while now. It's really a
great place for a lot of information, I'm hoping to meet
some great people here.

By the way, I am currently in the Dating Advice for Men market.

I've tackled it down to a specific niche, which is teaching men
how to naturally start a conversation to attractive women on
the streets, successfully become friends and get their numbers.

If you are in the same market, or similar ones (such as Bulk Up),
please let me know. We might be able to do some partnering
and networking in the near future.

Cheers,

Markus

        for the streets so far.

I am still testing around with Online Dating,
will practice it on you once I've got it together.

Might even write a book on "How to meet women
        on a money-making forum".

        Anyway, it's nice meeting you.

        Hi Markus,

Thank you for finally coming out of the bushes.

That's an interesting angle... meeting women on the street. It could have so many connotations. Do men "really" approach women on the street who are not... ahem... you know, one of 'those'? Can't say that I've ever been approached on the street. Other places, yes.

Then again, come to think of it...

Here's a little story for you. Talk about taking the wrong approach to meet women.

When I was in my early 20s (that's goin' back to the '60s), I was visiting a friend of mine who lived above a cab office with her husband cab driver. She often left her lower door open in summer because she spent a lot of time sitting with him in the cab until he got a call.

This day, when I arrived at her house, a mere few hundred yards from the bus stop, I had to climb a tall flight of stairs. When I reached the top, suddenly I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turned around, and there's this foreigner waving a $10 bill in my face. My impression was that he thought he was going to get laid.

My boyfriend happened to be coming up the stairs behind him. When he saw what was going on, he almost tossed the guy down the 50 stairs. Since my boyfriend was Italian, he told him off in a language he could understand. The guy scurried away. I stood there shaking. "What was wrong with that guy?" I thought. In those days, being approached like that was extremely humiliating, not to mention a few other things.

Maybe you can use this story to show your prospects the "wrong" way to meet a girl.

        Hi,

No Problem! Would that be for you too by any chance?

Two of the very main mistakes men make when meeting
women on the streets, is that they are too direct in
        early contacts.

For example, when I was working at a supermarket years
ago, I witnessed a few customers who tried to pickup
some of our female staff, they merely talked for no more
than 5 sentences, and went for the kill (asking for contacts)
right away. They show interests way early on. Big mistake.

This could be compared to showing a hefty price tag
of $497 for an Internet Marketing product before you
do the pre-sell and sell to get them familiar with you
and your product first, thus making prospects cringe
and make a "premature decision" to stay away from the product.

Attractive women also make "premature decision" to stay
away from most guys too when they are being direct and
show interest way too early on in their interactions.

Another reason is they are being too nervous, thus,
stiffed up, so they either stutter when they speak, or
just sound plain like a seriel killer.

Hence, you should be natural, just talk to them as if
you would be talking to your other female friends,
do not let them sense that you view them as special
        from the other women.

By the way, should I call you Jon? Sorry, I tried to look
for your name, this is the closest I can get.

Indeed, the guy didn't know how to meet women on the streets

            Hi Markus,

            Good to meet you, too.

Believe me, it didn't seem very funny at the time, but now that I'm far more 'worldly', it is kinda funny. I hadn't thought of that experience in years.

It was one of the problems of being so attractive. Guys were always hitting on me - and always with the same goal in mind.

You give a few hints above on doing it right. Here's more.

Some guys are too brazen - they think they're God's gift. They just don't get it when they are turned down because they expect the women to fall all over them.

It's true some guys are really shy, too.

From my perspective, guys who are confident and relaxed are quite appealing. If they can carry on a good conversation, great! In other words, if they are knowledgeable and can converse on many subjects. Natural humor is always a winner, for me anyway, as long as it doesn't involve practical jokes. Hugh Grant comes to mind.

It can be tough overcoming shyness. Learning to relax and being yourself is probably the best advice. There's no point trying to be someone you are not. It has to feel natural for you. The biggest issue for men, I think, is that they are afraid of getting rejected. The solution?

Don't go in with expectations. Strike up a casual conversation related to something that's going on at the time. Think of it as nothing more than that. A sharing of ideas and thoughts. If you go in with the intention of winning her over, you will be nervous. Don't even think about that. Put it out of your mind. If it happens, then that's a bonus that you didn't expect, and you will feel fantastic.

            Sylvia

              Hey Sylvia!

Your advice here is actually very similar to what
I have written in my 100+ page book.

I have consulted with a lot of attractive female friends,
as well as analyzing from my own (and my student's)
field data to have this book written.

Needless to say, I have elaborated much more
in details, as well as some case studies, finished
with copy & "pastable" to execute strategies & tactics
in order to make it saleable for a price with happy customers.

I've spent a good 25-page teaching them how to
              overcome them their Inner Insecurity.

Then around 20-page on exactly what not to do,
and the right & wrong objectives of a street pickup etc...

Plus 50+ pages of actual examples, complete with
tactics and tips conducting street pickups.

Nevertheless, it is really great to hear these hints
from another attractive woman too! This just all the
more reassures that I have got a high quality product
here to be really proud of selling to people.

              Markus

We are in the Canberra area and yes it is very nice. I think I prefer it over Sydney. We went to visit there and it was super hot. Where I am it doesn't get that uncomfortable. The children enjoy it as well. We are planning to see more parts of the country this year and maybe into next as well.

Oliviasmith: Hi, you know that is funny you should ask that because I was just talking to someone from here who went to Canada for 2 years. She was telling me how different it was and how scared she was driving because in Canada they drive on the opposite side of the road. She told me she enjoyed her time there but she missed home so not sure. If you don't mind driving on the other side of the road you might enjoy it. Probably best to visit first and stay for a few weeks to get a feel for it. You can tell a lot about a place in a relatively short period of time.

Consumerboard: you know my son started school here last year and I personally love it. They have a truly awesome home study program that uses computers and gets the children involved in a way that regular homework never could. If we ever have to leave it will be sad. Truly have enjoyed the time we have had here so far. Great experience.
