Okay...So My Taste In Music Has Gone To Hell

So like I'm driving my daughter home from the Linden train station after a long
weekend in Boston and New York and I'm listening to a station that I don't
normally listen to because they play music (using the term loosely) that I
don't normally consider music.

And then I hear these two songs and the first thing I did when I walked
through the door is hoped and prayed that I could actually find them on
YouTube.

No, this isn't the kind of stuff I normally listen to and God only knows why I
love these tunes (like I said, maybe my taste in music has gone to hell) but
for better or worse, these songs put a smile on my face tonight.

Take that for what it's worth to you.

Here is J Cole with "I'm Coming Home" and Pink with "F*ckin Perfect"

J.Cole is a good artist, your taste in music isn't going to hell, it's improving. P.Diddy also did a version of the same song with the same title, you should listen to his version and compare the two

I think you better listen to the entire Gentle Giant catalog and I'll pretend I didn't see this post. LOL! Just kidding. Glad to see you enjoying songs out of the "prog rock comfort zone."

I've considered that my taste in almost everything has been lousy which

I have found that new music is either crap, or they make it so annoying you have to remember it, like that inane frog song... you remember it though.

I saw P. Diddy do his version on TV, it was incredible.

What's wrong with Gentle Giant? I've been a fan since the early 70's when this album came out.

Ah well, I feel your pain there. I was a Packers fan for most of the post-Bart Starr losing seasons before some guy named Brett Favre came along. Been a Brewers fan for since 1980 too, and they've only been to one World Series in all that time. Hang in there, your time may come yet.

That tune reminds me of some of Frank Zappa's tunes, like this one...
