Once you do that try promoting the article through social media. Its all about content, the article sites may be no follow links but if you have a great content and websites in your niche decide to use that then they will be naturally linking to you which does give you some link juice. There are different article directories which accept links either in HTML form or its anchored,so take care while submitting that which format is acceptable.You should place not more than two keywords in resource box. you can also get link juice from author bio by hyper link and submit article more article sites.and you also get link juice from book marking of high page rank sites. And try to submit article in high pr article sites,you can get more link juice by submitting articles in high PR websites......
