Call someone. What, no one to call? Then it’s time to get away from the computer and acquire some other interests or hobbies through which you will get to know other people.

Be helpful to others, and they will be helpful to you. To have friends is to be a friend to others first. So, “join” a group of some kind – baseball team, softball team, bowling, church group, volunteer at a hospital, or help at a local soup-kitchen, civic organization, a singles club, 12-step group, hiking club, bike club, take Taekwondo lessons or join a Judo club, game club, Toastmasters… the list can go on forever.

What do I do? I’m a joiner, and often volunteer within the group.

    Alone and bored?! Hmmmmmm.

    True Story:

Before I started my internet marketing business I would honestly go to sleep when I was alone and bored.

Now that I have started a business I love in internet marketing, when I am away from the family and "alone and bored" I jump online (anywhere I am at) and make some money.

    Maybe something to think about.

    See a hooker(JK)

In all seriousness, go outside and meet people, that always cheers me up.

Do a walk outside, have some fun and quality time looking at the sun/clouds/night sky. Ring some friend and have a hot tea somewhere nice... or simply dedicate some time to yourself: exercise, a long hot bath, shopping...

People make good money selling to the rich. But the rich got rich selling to the masses.

Joining groups? its kinda of hard since I live in a relatively tight city where all people care about is just money, fast cars and high rise penthouse apartments.
I'm tired of the computer. What else?

An old toothbrush, a bucket of soap and water and a couple hours scrubbing the baseboards ought to get some creative ideas flowing...

Skirting board. You know the piece of wood that runs around the bottom of the wall? That's what it is.

Agree with the other though, you should definitely go and see what groups there are in your city. I belong to a couple of Meetup.com

    15 and bored.
Let's see, when I was that age (long ago...and far away....)
I'd get a roll of quarters and go play arcade games at the bowling alley -- sometimes I would actually bowl - great way to release pent up energy.
I would also go to the public library -- no matter what your interests are, you can find a good book to dive into! They also have many other activities (music, etc) you may like..

    ahh...to be young and bored...

Music is my companion when I am lonely. I am never bored but I am lonely fairly regularly and I really do find that music helps.

I try to help someone else. It can be as simple as stopping by the Copywriting Section of this forum and responding to a thread where someone is looking for feedback.

Or responding to someone else who says they feel lonely or down.

If I have more time, I'll schedule a social outing-- almost any activity with someone that I like to see. Sometimes going to a local store where I know the owner might be enough to break up the solitude and brighten my day -- especially if I can make the person laugh

      Good luck

Pick a coffee house or Barnes & Nobel. Lots of people come in to hang out and you could meet some cool people there.

I moved a lot when I was your age, my father was in the military so I was lonely a lot and afraid to make new friends. I just got my nerve up and went to a place where a bunch of guys were playing games.

I just watched and one of the guys asked if I wanted to play, and I didn't know how to play the game so I told him that, but he said he would show me. I was afraid all of them would laugh at me, I didn't play the game very well, but no one laughed at me and I never had a problem making friends after that.

I guess you just have to take a chance, if those guys had laughed at me, I probably would have had a hard time making friends after that. Any way, if you don't know anyone, just find someone new and you may be surprised how nice they might turn out.

Well i usually smoke when I'm bored, but i won't recommend you as you are only 15. I would suggest you that you should do some exercise or do some creative work when you are bored. Well it's really strange that you are bored at the age of 15

Workout - It will release endorphins and these will naturally make you feel good.
Get out and get some sun - sunlight will re-energize you.
Do some Yoga to relieve stress.

Most of all, understand that it's okay to be alone and bored. Everyday life is very routine unless you make it not so. In regards to loneliness: If you believe there is a higher power, then the truth is that you are never really alone!

then i guess the best thing you do is go out and visit your friends who needs your presence so that you will not be bored and at least you make good things to others.

Occasional solitude and boredom should be welcomed as opportunities for reflective thinking- thinking about yourself, yourself in relationship to others, your purpose in life, your goals, your achievements, etc.

But if you find yourself alone and bored often, then plan ahead and schedule time with friends and family. Few friends? Then, volunteer. Volunteering opens up so many doors of opportunity. Plus, it teaches you that the world is so much bigger than your house and yard!

And, on short notice, during your times of boredom, get into action- run, work out, ride your bike, skateboard...

Go out with a friend or get your backpack and go someplace you've never been. See new places, meet new faces.

Basically, try to experience something new. That should beat boredom and loneliness.
