"CAMARILLO, Calif. (AP) -- The average price of U.S. gasoline fell 22 cents a gallon during the past two weeks, bringing it to its lowest level in nearly five years, according to a national survey released Sunday.

The average price of regular gasoline Friday was $1.75 a gallon, oil industry analyst Trilby Lundberg said. The price of mid-grade was $1.90 a gallon and the price of premium was $2.02 a gallon.
The last time gas was cheaper was on March 2004, Lundberg said, when the national average for regular was $1.74 a gallon. The all-time high was on July 11, 2008, when the price peaked at $4.11 a gallon."

Can you believe this when price was averaging at $3 to $4 a gallon?

Strong indication that the price of fuel is used to manipulate the general public.

No - Strong indication there will be a deflationary depression without serious intervention.

For those of us who live in Sunny California, here's a little helper to find the cheapest gas prices:

California Gas Prices - Find the Lowest Gas Prices in California

I don't know if it's nationwide, I just noticed the "region=CA" in the link, so hope this will help you find the best gas prices in your neighborhood. Around here, it's around $1.63. Too bad my car is "in the shop".

This is awesome news... I was so happy the other day when my local gas station dropped below 2 bucks for the first time in years, just a few weeks ago...

Does anyone have any reasoning of why fuel has dropped so dramatically so quick?

I know Congress was discussing putting the kabosh on speculations on necessities. It might have something to do with the fact that India walked out of OPEC and Saudi recently threatened to also because they wouldn't go along with cutting oil production for the high profits.

When it started to fall just before elections I figured it would shoot even higher than it was by now. Go figure.

Anyone remember that guy who was interviewed on Alex Jones who worked out in Alaska or some place with oil execs? Oil was well over $100 and looking like it was heading for $200. He said the intent was to bring it down below $50 a barrel (it's about $47 now) in order to flood the market with cheap fuel. Just another means to keep the economy in the toilet.

It looked unlikely at the time, but it's happened. Coincidence? I'll see if I can find the segment of the interview...

Yeah, his name is Lindsey Williams. I've posted a video with him up above.

It was Lindsey Williams, author of "The Energy Non Crisis". His interview was back in July when he predicted this would happen and why. Here he is being re-interviewed in November basically saying "told ya so". Well, not in so many words.

He's explaining the purpose and what the plan is next according to what he was told by the 'elite' whom he worked with for 3 years.

This is what is in store for us in the next year if he's right again.

    Clip is under 11 minutes....

Interesting.....he claims here the objective is to bankrupt the Arab states - then Russia and China, and ultimately the rest of the world including America. Then they'll buy up everything for pennies and own it all.

He says the price of oil will stay at this level so enjoy it while you can. He was told that after it dropped to $50, about 6 months to a year afterwards 'they' will implode the whole system.

Being right about the oil price drop could be a coincidence, (after all they apparently told him McCain was "their man" so maybe they are telling a few lies, or are not in total control) but if we start hearing reports that the Arabs are in financial difficulty, then it might be wise to pay attention to this fella.

It's going to take a hell of a lot more than 40 buck barrels of oil to bankrupt the Saudis. They have ownership in a lot more than oil - one of our leading news channels for one thing - many other global corps, too. No - I think they are wrong on this one, Phnx. By the time they can screw things up bad enough with the oil crisis someone will have started to get shipments of HE3 from space and if it isn't the oil giants, they can kiss their butts tata then. Of course once someone gets their equip to the moon to harvest it - there will be new reasons for war, too -so all is good, the end of the world need not be postponed.
