How did you find the Warrior Forum?

I was just searching online for a like minded community. Luckily I stumbled across this one!

I've been here for a few years now....to be honest, I forget!!

This is my point...sometimes we all forget where our roots are...

A friend recommended it to me. Always good to have good references especially
by people you know and trust. The warrior forum is so helpful. And to add, there
are some kick-ass people in here!

I read about it on someones blog a couple of years ago. I can't remember whose though. But I never signed up until now.

It was promoted in an online newsletter (ezine)
I was a subscriber of.

So it used to be a paid membership way back then?

I got a discount joining code from buying an ebook.

At that time the WF was something of a secret place and you had to know about it in order to know how to get in.

I forget but I suspect I found a link to a WSO and followed it here..

I initially discounted internet marketers as a bunch of wackos. I registered and then didn't come around for a while. Then I kept hearing things and decided I would give it a shot. Still haven't made a decision on the first point.

I was recommended it way back in the day by Stone Phillips

My girlfriend knew about this place when I started becoming interested in Internet Marketing. I eventually came inside and I am glad I did.

Was searching the net for a site like this, and I found the perfect one.

I'd just got started online and learned about a business model whereby you could write a report and then give it away for free with a bunch of affiliate links inside and make thousands of dollars a month.

I'd written my report and I wanted it read as many times as possible, so I searched for "internet marketing forum" in Google. I found the WF and started a new thread in the main discussion forum simply providing a direct link to download my report.

I sat here refreshing the page watching the number of views go up, and then at about 60 views the thread got deleted and I got banned.

At the time I couldn't work out what I'd done wrong, but looking back I cringe with embarrassment.

Luckily that was under a different username and this is the first time I've revealed that I spammed the WF!

It makes me think that when people come in here spamming their links, they aren't pure evil like many make out (although some are), they may just be over eager, naive or mis-guided.

Anyway, that's how I found, and LOST, the WF all in the space of an hour.

Luckily I came back a few months later more experienced and I've stuck around since!

In 1997 I did a search for those old government "reports" to use for web content. Allen was selling them on the homepage and membership to the forum was part of the deal.

Ironic, those "reports" are the equivilent of PLR content today. And IMO, content is still the first step, and most important step, in SEO, just as it was in 1997.

I read about this forum on a blog long before I started my IM business. I was still working outside the house. I figured I'd sign up to see what it was all about. Then I forgot all about it.

About a year later I quit working outside the house to stay home with my kids, and since I am not someone to sit still too much, or to be dependent on my husband, I returned back here. Even though it took me even longer to start posting here.

I think I've seen this topic a few times in different threads and answered a few times, ha ha.

For me it was simple. I was doing some searches on Google about making money online and warrior forum kept popping up so I started coming here.

I agree with you marvin. With age comes experience.

I'm pretty sure a link to the Warrior Forum was a secret bonus to Marlon Sander's Amazing Formula ebook at one time. I'm fairly certain that's how I found out about the forum back in '99 or so.

I found out about it through various training videos.

One of my friend, suggest about this beautiful forum website.

This would have been in the late 90's 97 or 98. Back then it would likely have been from a newsletter.

I was trying to find information on tradebit and google led me here. A few threads were very helpful and informative.

I have found warrior forum by searching internet. This forum is so much excellent for signature. I am happy to join this forum.

I was researching an IM product and a WF thread related to the product popped up #1 on Google. There were also a few more related WF threads.
That was only a couple months ago.
I'm extremely thankful to have found WF. It's the best resource for IM of any level.

I got recruited here by a friend. He said this will help me grow financially. He was right!

I think my first BBS was in the late 80s too,but I joined the WF aorund 97 or 98.

i found the warrior forum drunk and passed out on my foyer floor....then i had to scrape them all up and toss them out into the street....
