I can only welcome that! I enjoy the sandwiches over at Subways much more than the hamburgers at McDonalds.

Since they have so many vegetables on them I believe that it's not only my wishful thinking that they are healthier, too.

Interesting article, thanks for posting. I knew this will happen sooner or later because we are being more self concious than ever.

      Umm,, Subway is not healthy!

The veggies are not fresh and as a result are loaded with tonnes of salt to give it any flavor.

Subway is just as evil as Maccas, you think they don't go for the absolute cheapest and low quality food?

Don't be fooled, it's cheap fast food after all.

We it is a very successful formula I will give them that. I have never seen a franchise close once it opens. I don't like the food though. But then again I don't like any fast food.

Maybe it's different here in Germany, but I see them cut up fresh salads and stuff in the back and their sandwiches taste great even without sauce and meat on them.

However it's just too expensive for me to go eat there regularly.

Their meats and bread are loaded with bad carbs and fats...plus you have to ask for 'double' meat or your essentially eating a veggie sandwich. Publix Boars head subs are in another league, so much yummier
