I did that for a year (and my father's done it very successfully for over 20 years now). It isn't typically "easy money" and it isn't "whenever you want", either. It requires infinite patience and discipline, as well as having a very steep learning-curve and a skill-set that's very difficult for most people to acquire.

I'm much happier and better off as an internet marketer.

Running a small, successful bookshop would be pretty good, but those two adjectives are, unfortunately, close to being mutually exclusive, when applied to bookshops, and it's typically a very precarious business model (at best).

Professional Poker Player, and I am heading in that direction. (my avatar is me playing in the World Series of Poker this past year)

In the mean time, I am a self employed Creative Professional and it's pretty cool, it sucks beyond belief when I don't have any projects and I can't cover all my expenses when I am in a slump but otherwise the freedom is amazing... Same with Poker... the only schedule you need to adhere to is when does the tournament start.
