What was the most salary you had per month ?

Hello , I'm a computer programmer in Iran and my maximum salary has been 2000$ per month.
Note that in Iran 2000$ is an excellent salary . for example you able to buy 650 pizzas with two thousands dollars

What about you ?

ha ha ha! Naturally, a programmer would list salary in terms of pizza. lol Don't forget the soda too!

I've been out of work for the past 5 months focusing completely online. I'll probably go back to work sometime soon though. I'm an American and my job income pays for roughly 10,000 pizzas per month. So, basically I can eat about twice as much pizza as you! But keep in mind I started programming in BASIC at 13 and Assembler at 14 and have been working a long time.

My mistake . that was 650 not 6500

! so your salary is about 15 times higher than mine and i will be able to buy 9750 pizzas . can you believe this ?

Each 3 pizzas for one day and after 3250 days I will be like a big pizza.

Ha ha! You know what? I did the exact same thing. Mine is per year not month! So it looks like we are both consuming the same amount of pizza.

  LOL! Well, in fairness that quote appears to be in USD per year not 200,000 pizzas per month. There are still some very good IT jobs available over here. So, getting $200k or more per year is entirely within reason.

  Yeah but if I do that then people would know exactly what it is and that could offend some people who might stumble across this page. Some colleagues would think you should get more and others would think I knew you were making more than me! Maybe I could change my profile image to Snoopy or something. lol

  Currently I'm at about $ 500 per month that is enough for about 30 pizzas here, so I have to live with a pizza a day
  
  Luckily, there are cheaper foods available though.
  
  The funny thing is that I know there is a site where they compare the prices for a living by comparing the prices for a BigMac. Don't know if that site still exists, though.
