Yahoo Inbox eMails Disappearing!

For the 2nd time in about 3 weeks, I had almost my whole inbox disappear. It seemed to erase everything but the last 20 eMails and/or some that were marked or flagged.

This last time I lost some very important inbox eMails. I Googled my problem and have seen others with the same problem going back a couple of years to present day.

Yahoo also provides a domain service and one could use that domain for eMails. I have done that and pay annually. That inbox hasn't been affected.

I did several different anti-virus, register cleaning, disk cleanup, defragmenting, installing programs that fix broken drivers, etc. I cleared cookies, closed browser, IE, and deleted temporary files and a whole lot more. I have come to the conclusion the problem is on Yahoo's side and nothing to do with my browser or computer.

Has anyone else been having this problem? If so, did you find the reason why?

Thanks,

I haven't ever encountered this kind of problem but I suspect someone's got your password. Have you tried it by changing your password?

I have left no stone unturned. LOL!

That was the first thing I did.

      Thank you for the idea.

You are not dreaming. I've had similar things happen with Yahoo mail for some time now..just weird stuff. One day its fine, the next it won;t open mail, or worse, opens the wrong mail item when you click on it - bizarre. I have also concluded its Yahoo's server or something, it's definitely NOT my system.
