Problem with invoices

Hi guys,

I have a strange and not standard questions.I would be really thankful for help.

Ok, here is the problem.Every day in my work as an affiliate marketer I need to pay different people for many different things, like - creating websites, software, any kind of work, promoting on their sites...And the problem is that in my country I MUST have invoices for that. But many people can not give me an invoices.

So solution one:
I ask these people to register at freelancer sites. In that case the freelancer site can send me an invoice, and everything is ok.

BUT ...
If I ask a webmaster to post a link from his site to my site, it would be NOT allowed in freelancer sites and my account can be deleted. That is because these freelancer sites are only for work.So can you give me ideas what can I do?Are there any sites that will issue an invoices for me?For example I can use similar sites that allow promotions.I want everything to be 100% legit.

Any kind of ideas are welcome.

WOW, they SHOULD be able to give you an invoice. When I was a kid, EVERYONE gave a receipt/invoice ALL THE TIME They STILL do for most, and the others at least CAN, if the idiot employee doesn't throe thhem out without even asking!

Explain to them that in some cases you NEED to have a paper trail to prove you have not created a FELONY! Purchases of drugs for resale, high end watches, possibly even used goods, require such info, or you better hope you aren't audited in some way. And then there are taxes, which you are supposed to have receipts for.

I don't know what you need the receipts for, but if it is to prove ownership of something, chain of ownership, or to expense something, they should understand it. If they don't, you have to wonder if THEY are covering their rears!

Just to show what I mean... On "american greed", I WISH they had another name for that show, they spoke of a doctor that was ARRESTED not purely because they suspected other fraud, but ALSO because he sold MORE of a drug than he could ever prove he bought. The evidence suggested he watered down an expensive drug to make more money. Another place had Person's tissues and the paper trail led to a front where careless people got it from cadavers they weren't even allowed to. And a pawn broker that doesn't have receipts can quickly become a FENCE!

Paypal has an invoice option.....at least my business acct does....can bill clients by invoicing as well as specific line items.
Have only had one client that wanted to be ''invoiced'' for payment, but it worked well.
would this help solve the issue for you?

He's not invoicing people as I read it - he's hiring work done and wants them to invoice him for payment.

At least that's what I think he's saying.

If you are working directly with these people - why not just provide a blank form that they must email back to you before receiving payment? They could email it to you with the finished work. Then you would have proof of payment when you pay them through paypal.

Or run everything through private jobs at elance and pay the elance fees.

    Thanks for help ...

The problem is some people are not companies and they can not send me an invoice.Freelancer sites are good, but they will not work if I want only to place my links on their sites, because this is not a job, and therefore it is against freelancer site's tos.About paypal - is is interesting idea, but I think it will not work for me in that case.I need something like paypal, sites where people can register and to offer services, and I can get invoices from there.Any ideas ...

If somebody knows, please let me know, really need that help, because every day I lose money, for this stupid problem.

If you tell freelancer you will only pay if they issue an invoice (through paypal) most would be ok doing it I would think. Don't know of any other sites like that though..

they can not send me an invoice
Why can't they? Maybe there's confusion in terminology. If I do a freelance job for you - what keeps me from sending you an invoice by email listing the work and requesting payment due?

An invoice is a request for payment and then you would have proof of payment sent as proof you settled the invoice for the amount due.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what is required. If you escrow payment through a freelance site like elance - wouldn't the elance request for release of payment for work done be considered an invoice?
