What Is An Artist?
I've come across a number of frustrated artists in my time. Many of them frustrated either because they didn't attain corporate approval (especially those in the film industry) or they got the corporate greenlight and saw their work mangled (especially screenwriters).
When I lived in Argentina, artists were targeted for persecution and a number of them "disappeared." Whatever their motives were, it wouldn't have been corporate approval.
