Hope you have a great party planned, young man.

Make a wish and blow out the candles. Then tell everyone you are sick so they won't eat any of your cake!

          You'd be surprised.
I raised 4 kids on Feat and they're all still fans.

That's one of the things I like about this place...I keep getting reminded of things that I have long forgotten...like Little Feat, and quite a few other bands.

Hey how did Patrician get her .gif working?

That kid in mine actually throws that cake and John better get used to that...specially with a boy. lol

I must a screwed up somewhere...I've gotten them working before.

My stepdad was an ole hippie.... out on the back of our property when I was in my teens, we had an ole church bus that was buried up to its wheels in the ground.... with a bunch of velvet black light jimi hendrix posters hung up in it and christmas lights lining the cieling.... and an 8 track player with about 1000 8 tracks, little feat, crosby stills, nash and young, cream, janis joplin...jethro tull, marshall tucker, black oak arkansas, molly hatchet... all that stuff... I learned to play the blues on deep purple (lazy) and "stormy monday".

He had a little freezer out there with cold beers, and behind the bus he had his little magic "Garden...".... if you call 7 foot tall "little".

Being the helpful child that I was, I used to go out every morning after he'd leave for work and help "prune" the garden, you know get the some of the"weeds" out...? Only he didnt know know it, cuz I wasnt lookin for the credit or anything! Wasnt I a good kid?

It was funny because my mom was a church pianist. She was just happy that he "Kept it out in the bus". That was her rule... all that worldly stuff.

Anyway, I used to go out there and hang out and listen to old music and "blow smoke" with him... he would tell me every detail about every old band...

Geez Bill is that a twenty year old picture in your avatar?
Like the real estate people do, out here in Californaaay.
Or you just don't age? Like my brother.

This June I'll be middle aged, if I happen to live to be 102

p.s. you want a good laugh Bill?
Check out my attempt at video in KimW's

I am so sorry John. 'Didn't mean no harm on anyone'...

I guess since Bill and Thom copped to being codgers I may as well say my son Sean was born in the winter of the summer of love (1967). ...but please think child bride.

He grew up in the Haight Ashbury and was called 'Stoner' his entire life -- and after graduating college is now a highly educated Slacker Stoner.

I was 8 months pregnant at the Human Be-In @ Golden Gate Park in SF, CA -- and looked like a watermelon with shoes. Nobody would sit near me because I looked like I was going to have the kid a week ago. I was used to it because I looked like that from 3 months preggy to about to pop any second by that time.

      Lol Steven,

Reminds me of when I was 13 and fell asleep with my nose in the gas tank of my grandfathers lawn mower.... SERIOUSLY..... had the strangest dream and woke up wasted..... Yeah I was a gas huffer. Dont ask about the time I tried to smoke grape vines.

      Ps. @ Patrician

I can relate because a week ago my wife looked like she should have had a baby a week ago.... and it was true, he came before the due date and when we got to the hospital he shot out like a rocket. lol

Her last week, I was scared to sit next to her, she really looked like she was gonna just burst open any moment...
