Does anyone else watch Y & R? I tape it every day and have been watching for years. However, I think it's 'jumped the shark' as they say. It's getting a little rediculous, (like it wasn't before?) but now it's getting out of line.

If I lived in Genoa City, I would move. They can't keep anyone in jail...they all escape. If feeble little Sharon Newman can escape then nobody is safe in that town. Just in the last year, Daisy, Patty, Ryder, Sharon, and probably more have escaped the law. CRAZY!

    I don't watch Y&R but watched 3 others for 20 years - General Hospital, All My Children and One Life to Live.

    I finally got burned out when I started watching (working from home) everyday. Everybody in the towns have married everybody in the town or their brother sister mother or father at least once.

    General Hospital was the last to bite the dust for me and I admit to still tuning in every few months just to see what is going on for a few days - then I remember why I stopped:

    Their whole trip is certain people are always getting shot in gangsta wars and they go to the hospital, everybody is nervous and then they recover only to get shot again. Once in a while somebody dies off.

    Now that I have stepped back I can really see why so many people think soaps are hideous. What was I thinking???
