Seriously...this just popped up in my mailbox.
I wander onto FB maybe a couple of times a week at most (usually just to see what my daughter is up to..lol)
I know I haven't been on today..........but as for informing me of acct. activity; I find this email lacking in any useful info.
When? From what IP? HUH? Tell me something that might help me know what wth this means..

Here is the return header of that email...
    Return-Path: <notification+hediordz@facebookmail.com>

Someone must be fishing for usernames and passwords. I did not click the link provided in the email. I typed it in the address bar and went into my account. FB had locked my account and said someone from NM tried to login to my account.

hmm...when I went to mine it was someone from NM as well....
I didn't click link either; although it looked legit....
since then I've gotten a couple of notifications from strangers so not completely sure they didn't mess with the fb acct... luckily, FB is not a major deal for me or biz, etc..

It's not Facebook SPAM, it's a Facebook SCAM.

If you ever get an email like this, type the Facebook URL in your web browser, then go to the site. If there's a problem and your account is locked out, you'll know right away.

Scammers want your Facebook login details so they can send scams and clickjacking notifications to your Friends.

    HTH,
    Tom
