Has anyone tried WP File Lock . . . ?
Is it easy to use for a non-techie like me?
And . . . how much does it cost?
They're very careful not to mention the
price on their site. They want you to
sign up first, so that they can spam you
for evermore . . . . ? ? ? ?

    I'm co-creator of WP Filelock. To answer your questions...

    For a "non-techie" this will be a snap for you if you have experience with wordpress. It's the simplest solution I know of on the planet to protect your files, but it IS a wordpress plugin so basic knowledge of wordpress helps.

    By the way, not everything is a deliberate marketing ploy either. It's not that we were very careful not to mention the price on the site. It's just that we forgot to put it on the main page. A simple mistake.

    Since this thing is very cheap, it'd be smart TO mention the price on the page as it is a selling point. In fact, the moment we got an email about it from someone, we went back and put the price on the page.

    And ask anyone on this forum - I don't spam. Period. I have perhaps one of the BEST reputations here.

    BTW, we are going to run a WSO for WP File Lock - just waiting for it to get approved right now.

  • Try blamads. It's the best content locker ever because it's free and customizable! May be hard to get into blamads but it's an easy html code you paste in your WP page and wala. Money machine
  • I am on Jason's list and while he does send out emails on a regular basis, I do not consider them SPAM because they usually have something of value.

    • Thank you. You're absolutely right, Jason has never spammed, nor ever would. I don't even know who sent me the link to File Lock. It could've been Jason, as I'm on his list. When I couldn't find the price I went back to the Email and deleted it.

  • I purchased this the other day, it's definitely solid.

    It's working flawlessly with a WSO Pro product, but I'd LOVE integration with DigiResults.

    In theory, you should be able to get it to work by using the ClickBank feature, as DR mimick's their system for use with DL Guard, but I couldn't get it figured out.

    However, the WP File Lock support team has been super helpful so far, and I'm confident that this feature will get added soon.
