Twilight SAGA is the best for me.. I just love how Bella manages to deal with wolves at the same time with vampires.. and Edward Cullen looks good too.. I am willing to be a vampire if I'll be with him.. lol

Paul - I have not laughed so hard since Shaun of the Dead. The movie is rude, crude, and hilarious. Its rated R for a good reason, but still - if you like spoofs and SF then you'll love this movie.

Unknown was good as well.

My favorite so far this year has been Hanna, the sound track by the Chemical Brothers was pretty solid too. Though I'm itching to see X-men First Class, Thor, HangOver II, and Fast Five!!! I'll catch up on my movie watching this week!

I love Pirates of the Caribbean! The story is full of adventure and fantasy, the mermaids are awesome, plus Jack is really funny and charming. They portrayed every character well. It is a must watch movie.

Season of the Witch was pretty good until the final scene or two in the monastery, then it takes the suspense away, relies heavily on cg that is ridiculous, and is another typical, ridiculous Nick Cage movie. He's getting to about 3 out of 4 bad movies that he's in.

Limitless, I think 2011, is a good film to watch as well as Source Code. Both have good endings and the movies themselves are good. Both were good budget movies with a well-known actor in the lead.
The Mechanic and Unknown were good movies as well. I really liked The Eagle and Just Go With It. Adjustment Bureau is worth a watch. And Battle:LA is action packed, just turn your mind off for an hour and a half and just enjoy the action and effects.
Sucker Punch was good to me, but a lot of people didn't like it. It has great special effects for sure. The story is psychological so it may be either great or trash for you.
I will get around to watching Fast Five and Thor. X-Men, the newest one, looks really good but I also haven't seen that one. Hanna I heard was excellent.
The Hangover 2 was good if you liked the first one, but it isn't as good as the first one.

Have you heard of the most recent Woody Allen movie?? It's called Midnight in Paris and it stars Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams. Sounds like an odd casting, I know. It's a bit make-believe and of course has a heavy Woody Allen influence. I loved it! It was original, creative and imaginative. Give it a shot!

I have seen many movies in 2011 like X-men First class, Fast Five, Transformer, Final Destination, Kung Fu Panda, Herry Potter And The Deadly Hallows 2. But I like most from these is Fast Five. Because it is Action, Thriller and Crime movie. I like even it's another part which came before this. I like Dominic character most then others in this movie.

Dont go see Melencholia. Sure, if you like artsy-fartsy camera shots, there's some of that. But as for a storyline and plot, this sucked, for lack of any other descriptive term. It's the story of a planet on a collision course for earth. No redemptive value, not entertaining, no hope or faith or saving message whatsoever. Just 2 hours of pure doom, wondering if and when it will impact. Then the credits roll.

That's it.

Movies I also liked that didn't make this list but are good movies are "Change-up" with Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman and also "Rise of the Planet of the Apes." I don't know why people didn't like it, whether they said it was slow, etc. It's supposed to be a story creating prequel, so it's going to be slow. I thought it was in depth and thorough and entertaining.

I've seen some moving films in my life but nothing effected me as much as the recent Lars Von Trier movie "Melancholia".

Absolutely incredible.

Cinematography. Check
Emotional Impact. Check
Best Intro to a movie. Check
Best End of a Movie. Check
Complex characters in the movie. Check.
That weird feeling that you've been there. Check
Sci-fi and Planets. Check
Kirsten Dunst in a decent role. Check
Kirsten Dunst in a role where she bathes fully in Melancholia. Check.
Melancholia is a planet.
Or a state of mind.
