Warriors - we're in need of new donations --- of PRAYERS.

Kim's wife just notified us he has been taken to the hospital. It's his heart. Not sure whether he had a heart attack or if there is a blockage, but he's getting an angioplasty tomorrow.

Pray for our friend.

Second Edit - for those who are reading this thread for the first time - this was where we originally announced that this account for the Save KimW project was now live-- that is why the first posts under this look so crazy considering the news in the edit. I was a happy thread when it was new and we fully hope that we get to edit it back into a happy thread again soon.

    I have donated some money to the fund and am surprised to see that she only raised $3000. The goal is $50,000 and can't believe with all the people here who have PayPal accounts not giving any of their money away.

    I am not even going to talk about the GURUS here who are earning well over 6 figures a month online not taking any steps to help this lady.

    talfighel - First - That lady is a male. LOL - its okay. Kim and I pm'd for weeks before I knew (his avatar wasn't his pic back then).

    Second - this is the second round, and just starting.
    We had a fundraiser for Kim at then end of last year. We raised almost $9,000 - and Admin donated extremely generously. Kim came in as the top fundraiser, top team, and won a 30 day billboard announcement.

    And then a crazy thing happened and he was put back on the transplant list and got a chance to live! So now we're doing it all over -- but this isn't for a Walk, etc -- this is for HIS life.

    I think there are many who are saving their donation money to buy the WSO....and man is it gonna be a Killer! Can't say I blame anyone for holding out the few extra days until it's live.

      Good to see you back - was upstairs wondering what happened. We hadn't seen hide nor hair of you since volunteering to write those emails. I see emails on the website, but no sign of you. LOL.

    I am glad somebody finally paid attention to me (Darren/GraphicsGenie)

    I had offered to write articles proceeds of which would go directly to Kim - months before the WSO John Durham is implementing - I got not one response. (I am famous what can I say).

    Then I posted in the first thread about the WSO that I would donate a pack of unique one-of-a-kind articles - got totally ignored - so I removed it (I'm Italian what can I say)

    Sooooo I am finally able to participate in this again. (and glad that someone can see me)

      This did start out less than organized. I don't think anyone meant to ignore anyone - but nobody really knew what was going on for awhile. All the plans were just like floating ribbons. Now they are all tied up in a nice bow and things are coming together. John announced in one thread somewhere (NO - I won't go back through all of those threads to find it, LMAO) to just send stuff to him. So we did. I'm glad I'm not the one dealing with that email box.

      I know one thing, Pat - you write well, so many affiliates will appreciate having one of those email letters whether they know who wrote it or not.

    Love you Pat.... Im really sorry, as Sal says the email is BLOWING up and people arent sending it to the boxes I suggested, so I have submission going to 3 different boxes coming through email addresses I dont recognize... and from several different people who are acting as liasons...... some of it is going to spam... Alot to keep track of... but as stated, we are in the last mile of a million mile race.

    I have a feeling a month from now alot of people are gonna be sayin "That jerk didnt answer my email" but Im tryin. Yeah you are famous Pat! Again, sorry. Glad Darren caught the ball there!

      you and me both...not sure who on WF got word, or what it consisted of.
      His wife simply has on her FB page that he is in hosp; no reason mentioned and telling someone she will not be at work mon/tue.

      so...sending prayers is best I can think of doing

        Thanks waterotter, I truly appreciate that . I did see the post. I just came back from the desert. I do not have a laptop. This is a very sad surprise to me. I would think that this deserves ...at least.. a thread to keep us updated.

      This was to be expected. Kim had/has Kidney damage. That means that his blood vessels may have been compromised(the kidneys are generally about first to go), kidney damage compromises the blood(interestingly, the kidneys are a key part of a feedback system to build the blood), and he had to have things like dialysis which can damage the blood and blood vessels. And damaged blood can cause clots. Blocked blood vessels are what caused this problem. Luckily the heart has plenty and most are pretty big, so the heart isn't as delicate as the kidneys.

      My family has a history of diabetes, so I found out how the kidneys can be damaged. I worked for a dialsys company, so I found out about EPO. I have an artificial valve, so I had to find out how blood can be damaged and how it can cause problems. And the part about the heart is pretty well known.

      Angioplasty as I recall, is generally pretty safe, etc... And it is relatively non invasive in that they don't have to rip him apart to do it. It won't be fun, and isn't necessarily the end of it, etc... So I am certainly not belittling it. One reason why I have a tag saying I have an artificial valve is because I now CAN'T have things like angioplasty. It can damage the valve. 8-(

      If they can just do this, and use stents, it will probably be FAR better, and less trouble for ALL, than a bypass, so it COULD be worse.

    I had an angioplasty years ago. Nothing to it. No pain at all.

    They go in through the vein in your leg and up into your heart and inflate a balloon and insert stents. The worst part is having to lay still for many hours afterward with a weight on your leg.

      Tim - thanks for the post. It really helps to know that. Those of us who have never had coronary issues have no clue what goes on - and when you say "heart attack" it can be a major scare for us. The explanation is very comforting.

        Yeah, I probably should have mentioned my father had it done. He ALSO didn't think it was BAD! He spoke about it much like Tim. Still, I felt my post was rosy enough. BTW my father HAS had a LOT of stuff done and is FINE! He still goes all over, plays bridge, and apparently does VERY well.

    Just got word from Kim, he has had a minor heart attack that is kidney related... and he is about to undergo some surgery, but has assured me that he will be fine, and it may be a few days before he's back on the forum... poor guy.... Sweetest fella in the world... I get such a sense of vulnerability interacting with him...

    In a sense, he's like a newborn baby in a mothers hands... only God's, and WE are Gods hands...

    Thanks John.

    This could be a blessing in disguise - Something they can do something about to avoid something in the future that could have been much worse.

    Last year my friend (very healthy man) went in for routine tests and they found something in his heart that they said was very rare and could have killed him instantly at any moment. It was major surgery but he is better than ever now -

    Thank you God that Kim will come through this one with flying colors!

    It is sickening (heart wrenching) the trials this poor man has had (will have) to go through.

    Thank God for all the love he has been shown by Warriors and of course his family.

    I am sure that has helped his head (and heart) space throughout everything recently.

    Please send up your prayers for additional strength for what is just the latest trial Kim has.

      Don't kick yourself too hard Sal. We are all tired and a little shocked I am sure.
      I did notice that the day I came back and was the only reason I tried to start a separate thread.
      "Yaay it's alive" in the second thread is tragi-comedy at its worst, but it happens.

      There are probably thousands of people looking to learn IM, that never heard of WF, but if they land on that site will buy, it is a good site and an obvious good deal. It could earn Kim revenue for years to come.

      That's a decent landing page and despite what some may think, not everyone knows the WF.
      We have a pretty good chance of raising that site in the serps...especially considering it's starting at 800,000 or so in Alexa.
      Was that an old domain? I have never started (except for old domains)
      below 7 million or so...that's where Kidney failurestage started, it is now 5 million or so Alexa.
      Still working at thee seo, because all the goog ads are Kims #...(Kidney failurestage)...(it is perfectly legal, we checked with Google first.)
      Nothing monetary on that site comes to me. Just so people know that anything they do for that site is for Kim, rest assured.
      By the way, it has always been the intention to transfer the whole site to Kim as soon as he is able...

      I mean, who would be better to write about kidney's more than him?
