100km Winds In Canada

Yesterday I walked around the nations Capital, Ottawa, with 100km an hour winds pushing me across streets and everywhere. In all of Ontario and the surrounding areas, their is a lot of wide spread damage, including multiple hydro outages, with trees falling, fires, and more around the area.

Where I live, there is still a continuous outage of almost 24 hours (knocking all my systems out) as well as trees down everywhere I look, and political signs totalled. Many signs for our local businesses were knocked down.

This is insane. I just wanted to make everyone aware of what is happening here in Igloo Land.

Well, don't feel like the Lone Ranger, Caleb.

Yesterday we were without power for over 18 hours due to a tornado knocking down the powerlines.

But the worst part is some of our neighbors' farm buildings were completely wiped off the map. 2 miles from us it looks like a war zone.

I feel sorry for those poor folks. What we went through was nothing by comparison.

Update: Here's a link to the local story...
