Sir Henry (`Enery) Cooper and "Whispering" Ted Lowe both passed away on 1 May 2011.

Cooper was the first boxer to knock Cassius Clay (later Muhammad Ali) to the canvas.

Lowe was the commentator of the popular 60's-70's snooker show Pot Black.

He is fondly remembered for the following quote/blooper:

    Ali was always vulnerable to a good left hook.

    I believe I saw the knockdown live at the age of 6 or 7.

    Ali was on the way to fine tuning his Gorgeous George imitation and by the time of the fight I hear everyone in Britain truly hated his guts and loved that knockdown.

    RIP Mr. Cooper.
