First let me say that the majority of my limited experience on WF has been positive and I thank all of you that have offered your help.

It seems there are some pretty "sick puppies" who frequent this forum.

They take different forms but all seem to have the same agenda - destroy, disrupt, disgruntle.

Instead of advising or guiding newbies they ridicule or mock them.

Post: "Any tips for keeping my computer in top operating condition?"
Super-intelligent reply: "Don't smash it on the ground."

They won't point out that you have made a mistake or suggest an alternative, they just get your thread nuked.

I'm reminded of little kids on a playground.

I guess I expected better.

Oh well, I did just fine before I came here.

I doubt you will miss me or vise versa.

Best of success!

I don't really understand this quote.

I guess i.m just pissed that a thread that was just starting to get some good replies was nuked because somebody assumed that I think in the same deceptive, under-handed way they do.

It's something that has been costing me sleep and the discussion was starting to produce some answers.

I shouldn't take out my frustration out on you all and I apoligize.

      Thanks for the comment.

Well, I see why/how someone who is new could see some exchanges here as scarey.

Please understand that by the same token that this forum is a community and extremely supportive, there are always those that prey on it for the same reason - because they can.

Some think that being nice even to crooks and nasty trolls is the way to be. In my opinion, this is like condoning and allowing the predators to rule the day. It's like being 'politically correct' is more important than anything else in the world.

Therefore, you must understand when you see, particularly senior warriors saying perhaps confrontational things, that there is a HISTORY which may not be apparent to you.

Although on one hand I believe the 'don't feed the trolls' theory, because you are rewarding their gnarly behavior by paying attention to them and allowing them to disrupt, on the other hand, they need to be outed (and I mean both exposed and pushed out).

As well, they are more than likely the ones making the nasty remarks.

It's actually kind of fun to drive them to the point that they paint themselves in a corner and get banned once and for all. I realize it is ugly on it's face, however, my personal opinion is that it is just something that needs to be done for the greater good.

I think if I was about to be hit by a truck, I would definitely appreciate it if someone warned me. I wouldn't 'shoot the messenger'. We are not under the same constraints as law enforcement who can't do anything until after the fact. Even if it means people think I am a rude harpy, if I can save someone from being taken, I will do my best.

(keep in mind as well that there is a history of people who have scammed the Warriors, gotten banned and then come back with an alias to play the same game).*

So please don't judge unless you know the circumstances. You will be helping the trolls if you were to go away simply because you assume someone innocent is being ostracized.

There is a wonderful 'family' of people here who will go out of their way to help each other in time of need. I am sure that if you are an honest person you have lots to share with others and are more than welcome here. Don't deprive yourself of the experience simply because of the world we live in...

    * Feel free to private message someone to ask what the story is behind their remark and if you know of someone who is a scammer, let someone know privately about it so that they can watch.

A man walks into a town and sees a person getting robbed.

He is horrified. "What kind of town is this?"

He walks over to a cop on the street and asks if this goes on here a lot.

The cop says, "That was the first robbery we've had here in 30 years. Of
course I guess it shouldn't surprise me since the guy who did the robbing
came from the town next door."

Don't judge a whole forum by one or two incidents. This forum has probably
done more good for people than any other forum on the Internet.

        FBT -

Most of your posts here have been offering free ebooks in the "make money" section or in the OT. If you want real "meat" join the War Room or participate in the IM related discussions in the main section.

For newer members, there's a danger of being seen as "only here to promote himself" if most of the person's post are "about me" - and it takes some participation and time to become known.

Also understand this is a high visibility public forum - and trolls come here to do what they do best....troll.

Sometimes people make a remark just to be funny. Once in a while, it really is funny, but usually not.

I've found that the warrior forum is by far the best
    IM forum around.

    Lighten up will ya.

The example you used is more of a joke to me rather
than an attempt to ridicule or mock.

    You think that's bad?

Go to a forum called Wicked Fire... then come
back and tell me what you think.

      Bloody hell, FBT,

Which kindergarten did you escape from?

One of the benefits of a forum is that you get exposed to all sorts of ideology, lunacy, information and simple conversation. If that isn't enough for you and you are not mature enough to join in with the grown ups, why not find somewhere else to throw your toys out of the pram?

Meanwhile, I will continue to laugh, learn, be shocked and be entertained by some great conversations. I am truly sorry you are unable to sort wheat from chaff.

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
Build it, make money, then build some more
Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies!

So sorry you feel this way. Whatever the reason for your demise, I want you to remember that if you were to let that little incident slide, the amount of information you learn from this forum could change your life forever - in the best way. If you do leave, you will be missing out on more than you could have ever imagined. But, it's for you to decide.

I too must admit that my initial reaction to some of the comments I found here was not warm and fuzzy, so I went to some other forums, but since I have come back I have been very active and have already learned more than I can tell you in one post.

A man walks into a bar and says, "Give me a beer before problems start!" The bartender gives him a beer, and the man orders another beer again saying, "Give me another beer before problems start!" The bartender looks confused. This goes on for a while, and after the fifth beer the bartender is totally confused and asks the man, "When are you going to pay for these beers?" The man answers, "Ah, now the problems start!"

Despite the few who cause problems, more beers have been served at the WF than on any other forum on the Internet.
